ScanX vs TenderDetail
ScanX is built around one firm at a time. TenderDetail is a tender database every subscriber shares. Every TenderDetail statement below is quoted from its own pages, linked, checked 3 October 2026.
The short answer
TenderDetail's own pages show a tender database for everyone: more than 2,12,830 live tenders, category-wise email notifications and Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans with AI features by tier. ScanX is set up for one firm: rules written for you from a call and revised from your marks, the GeM bid document read before a tender reaches you, and one ranked list your whole bid team works from. A database gives you more notices; ScanX gives you the right ones, checked.

Built around your firm
A tender service set up for your firm, not a feed you configure
A database gives every subscriber the same notices and a keyword box. ScanX starts from a call about your firm and keeps changing as you use it.
Rules written for your firm, not a keyword box
ScanX writes your rules from a 30 minute call, question sheets and your own records, such as a won-work ledger or a past-bid history: categories, negative terms, the buyers you know, ministries and contract forms. Every match stores the exact phrase and field that triggered it.

Changed the day you ask
A customer's first day of Not for us clicks became six rule changes and a new view the same day, and a request to drop two buyers was live the same day it was made. Every rules version records what changed and why, and must pass a test set built from your own records before it ships.
A missed bid is traced, then fixed
Report a tender you found elsewhere and ScanX names the step that lost it: not collected, no matching term, a negative term or a buyer not on the list. A customer who reported three missed bids had a diagnosis tool, a Missed a bid? box and a rules fix the same day.
Your buyers' own sites, read on request
When your buyers publish on their own tender sites, ScanX builds a reader for each. In September 2026 four were added: the first was read the morning after it was asked for, and two more the same day they were asked for.

AI that has to show its evidence
Two AI models from different companies must agree, each quoting the notice word for word, before a match is set aside. A second AI lane suggests bids your rules missed, ScanX AI answers with the rows it used, and a bid-fit engine that learns from a firm's past bids is in pilot.
Your divisions, your numbers
Separate rule sets for separate divisions, division logins and roles, and on Group your bid book from your own workbooks and tender pricing from your comparable past jobs.
Who each is for
ScanX and TenderDetail serve different jobs
ScanX
ScanX is for Indian suppliers and contractors who sell to central, defence and PSU buyers and bid often enough that the right tender matters more than another hundred notices. It sets up a workspace around the firm: rules written from a call with its team, the portals its buyers publish on, AI that reads and screens every match, the GeM bid document checked before a tender reaches the list, and one ranked list the whole bid team works from, revised as the team marks it.
TenderDetail
TenderDetail presents a large tender and results database: its home page counts 12,117+ authorities covered, its services page says 800+ newspapers are scanned daily, and its plans add daily category-wise email notifications, AI features and past results by tier, with a bid consultancy alongside. That suits a firm that wants breadth and results history, and will do its own filtering.

| How a match is decided | ScanX A versioned rules file ScanX writes for your firm: categories, negative terms, known buyers and ministries. |
| When you need a change | ScanX You mark a row Not for us, react in Slack or report a tender you missed, and ScanX writes the next rules version: within one working day on Group, three on Team, and changes have gone live the same day they were asked for. Every version records what changed and why, and a missed bid is traced to the exact step that dropped it. | TenderDetail Not stated on their site |
| AI | ScanX Two models from different vendors must agree, each quoting the notice word for word, before a match is set aside. Worth a look suggests bids the rules missed on Team and Group. ScanX AI answers questions with cited rows on Group. | TenderDetail
|
| Where the list arrives | ScanX A shared web list with views, filters, pipeline states and CSV export. A morning email digest to 3, 10 or 25 recipients by plan, and Slack with one thread per tender on Team and Group. | TenderDetail

|
| Awards and results | ScanX Your own results, tracked: won, lost, the L1 price and how many bid, recorded on each tender and analysed with your funnel from found to won. Award data is not collected from the portals. | TenderDetail
|
| Bid preparation | ScanX Group keeps your bid book from your own workbooks, prices a tender from your comparable past jobs and flags the exceptions. ScanX does not write or submit the bid itself. | TenderDetail

| Mobile | ScanX Nothing to install: the morning digest and the Slack threads arrive on your phone, and the list opens in a browser. | TenderDetail
|
| Published price | ScanX Desk Rs 14,999, Team Rs 28,999, Group Rs 44,999 a month, plus 18% GST. The first 14 days are a free pilot, and nothing renews unless you choose a plan. | TenderDetail Not stated on their site |
“Not stated on their site” means we did not find it on the TenderDetail pages we read on 3 October 2026, listed under the figures below. It does not mean TenderDetail lacks it.
Choose ScanX
Why bid teams choose ScanX
Firms that bid every week do not need more notices. They need the right ones, checked, explained and in one list the whole team works from.
Your buyers are central, defence and PSU bodies in India
ScanX reads GeM, the CPPP streams, CPWD, Defence eProcurement, the defence PSUs' shared portal and buyers' own tender sites every hour, with two full sweeps a day.

You want fewer rows, each one explained
The rules are written for your firm, every match stores the phrase that triggered it, and two AI models must agree, with verified quotes, before a match is set aside. Nothing is deleted.

Your whole bid team works from one list
Views, filters, a recommended order with its reasons, pipeline states with who moved each tender, Slack threads, and analytics on your own funnel from found to won.

Fair to say
When a tender database is enough
TenderDetail sells reach. If these are what your firm needs most, a database may be all you need.
You want the widest net, in India and abroad
TenderDetail's home page counts 12,117+ authorities covered and its information services page says 800+ newspapers scanned daily. ScanX reads Indian central, defence and PSU portals for your trades, and nothing abroad.

You want award data and past results
TenderDetail's competitive bid analysis page lists Award of Contract (AOC) details, and its Premium and Enterprise plans include Previous Similar Results. ScanX tracks the results your own team records, not the portals' award data.

You want someone else to prepare the bid
TenderDetail's home page offers complete preparation of technical and financial bid packages. ScanX finds, checks and ranks the tenders; your team writes the bid.

Method
Before you quote a figure
- TenderDetail's figures are its own as shown on 3 October 2026, and its counters move daily. Its pages count different things, such as Indian and global live tenders, so the figures should not be compared with each other directly.
- Features differ by plan. The subscription page marks AI-Based Short Summary and Previous Similar Results for Premium and Enterprise, and AI Bid Predictor, Probable Bidders and Missing Opportunities for Enterprise only. Say which plan when quoting any of them.
- We read the TenderDetail pages linked on this page and no others. A row marked not stated may be covered on a page we did not read.
