The procurement portals ScanX reads, and how each is read

India's central, defence and PSU procurement, and buyers' own tender sites, read every hour and merged into one list. Each workspace reads the sources its buyers publish on.

GeM

Government e Marketplace

Read from GeM's own bid feed rather than the GeM mirror CPPP carries, newest first, resuming where the last run stopped. A workspace can add streams narrowed to one ministry or department, or to a search term.

48,069 ongoing bids against 35,469 on the CPPP mirror the same day, about 35% more. The bid document of every open match is opened and read.

CPPP aggregator

Central Public Procurement Portal

The central listing, and the one most people mean when they say CPPP: departments that run their own e-procurement publish here.

About 31,439 live tenders, counted on 22 August 2026.

CPPP ePublishing

Central Public Procurement Portal

A separate stream for organisations that publish outside the aggregator. Its browse by organisation page is not linked from the ePublishing navigation, which is most of the reason its tenders go unread.

167 organisations, 141 of which appear nowhere on the e-Procurement side, holding 1,252 live tenders when counted.

CPPP state tenders

State instances on GePNIC

State e-procurement systems on the GePNIC engine, read one closing day at a time for the week ahead, filtered to the states a workspace works in.

The first 50 tenders of each closing day, a week ahead.

CPWD eTender

Central Public Works Department

The public works stream, read from CPWD's own application.

Publishes the EMD in the listing itself, which CPPP does not.

Defence eProcurement

GePNIC instance for the Ministry of Defence

Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, DRDO, Border Roads, Defence Estates and the Military Engineer Services, read from the closing today, 7 day and 14 day tabs.

Read whole on each full sweep, twice a day.

Defence PSU eProcurement

The defence PSUs' shared NIC system

Mazagon Dock, Garden Reach, Goa Shipyard, Hindustan Shipyard, BEL, BEML and MIDHANI, one host each. Each notice's detail page is read once, and again after a corrigendum.

The 14 day tab of every PSU is read whole on each run.

Buyers' own tender sites

A buyer's own tender pages, where it does not publish on the national portals

When a buyer your firm sells to publishes on its own tender site, ScanX builds a reader for that site, on request and where the site's terms allow it. Each site's public tender list is read whole, and its rows join the same list as every other source.

In September 2026 four were added. The first was read the morning after it was asked for, and two more the same day they were asked for.

Central Public Procurement Portal, Government of India

Every hour, merged into one list

A light sweep reads the first pages of every source each hour, and a full sweep reads every source at its own depth at 10:00 and 22:00 IST. Between them an hourly reconcile pass re-reads each open listing, so a bid that slipped past a busy hour is still caught.

One procurement often appears on two portals under two buyer names. Rows are merged on the tender reference, and the other portals are kept under Also listed on.

Each source is watched on its extraction rate, not its row count, and one that goes quiet for three hours raises an alert to us. GeM rows open the bid document directly; where a portal has no shareable tender link, one click copies the tender ID and opens the portal's search.

Your buyers' own sites, read on request

When a buyer your firm sells to publishes on its own tender site rather than the national portals, ScanX builds a reader for that site, where its terms allow. In September 2026 four were added: the first was read the morning after it was asked for, and two more the same day they were asked for. The Group plan includes one new portal a quarter.

IREPS, whose terms forbid commercial reuse, municipal portals and state portals outside GePNIC are not read.
