What we found while reading the portals
Not explainers. Each of these publishes a measurement we took off a government portal ourselves, with the date we took it and enough detail that you can go and check it.
The four CPPP organisation lists
Counting the organisations on CPPP gives four different answers depending on which page you ask, and one of the four is not linked from the navigation at all.
GeM direct against the CPPP mirror
CPPP carries a mirror of GeM, which makes it tempting to watch one portal instead of two. The two counts do not match, and the gap is not small.
Reading a GeM bid document
A GeM listing tells you a tender exists. The bid document behind it tells you whether you can bid at all, and it is the only place several of those answers appear.
Finding a CPPP tender by Tender ID
Somebody sends you a CPPP link, you click it, and the portal says the URL is invalid. The tender is still there. The link was never going to work for you.
Tenders counted, 22 September to 3 October 2026
From 22 September to 3 October 2026 the collector stored 35,639 newly published tenders, and 37,362 were open when it measured. It reads several portals only in part, so every figure here says where it came from.
We publish these because they are what the product knows. If you would rather not do the reading, that is what ScanX is for.
